WHAT CAN ONE DO?

Here is another very good article by Chris Westphal:
Perhaps you have asked that question. It can be a valid inquiry. Oftentimes it is posed by
someone on the brink of despair.
And sometimes it is offered as an excuse for one’s inactivity.
So, what can one do? Let’s look at some examples of what one can do.
One – family can build an ark and save 8 people. (Genesis 6-8)
One – man can defeat a giant (I Samuel 17)
One – man can defeat 450 prophets of Baal (I Kings 18)
One – man can lead 650,000 plus through the wilderness (Exodus 12:37)
One – man can save all who want to be saved. (Luke 19:10, Acts 4:12)
Don’t let Satan convince you that there is nothing only one can do. Great things have
been done through the effort of only one. Important things no matter what the scale may
be accomplished by one. You never know when you are the one through which God has
chosen to accomplish a task. Are you ready? Don’t keep Him waiting.
For Jehovah thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the
name of Jehovah, him and his sons forever.
(Deuteronomy 18:5)
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet
the youngest, and, behold, he is keeping the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and
fetch him; for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in.
Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look upon.
And Jehovah said, Arise, anoint him; for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and
anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of Jehovah came mightily upon
David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. (1 Samuel 16:11-13)
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my
name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel: for I will show him how
many things he must suffer for my name’s sake. And Ananias departed, and entered into
the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who
appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive
thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
(Acts 9:15-17)
