As Many Know

As many of you know I have been blogging on another website daily. That site has been easier to use. However, they are switching formats so this may be my go-to site now.

This daily post is supposed to share the happenings and hearts of the matter. There seem to be problems with aspects of my author page. The author page has hoops to make what is being written more compatible with their view of what the author should say and especially how the author should say it.

Truly, I do want to say wonderful truths in a simple way that we can all understand what is being said and that it is well said and well understood. The problem comes with not accepting the hoop presented as being the best way to achieve the finest outcome. I discovered I’m not writing for people with a ten-second attention span. Writers and storytellers have used different methods such as parables or fables to do this, but the ten-second criteria wasn’t part of either of those methods. The criteria for parables or fables in a nutshell would be a short interesting story with a moral goal.

Like most people in this year of stress, I don’t need more stress either. I had wanted my second book to be ready to publish this fall and it needs to be going through an editorial, but right now I’m still on page 108 or thereabout and that leaves two hundred pages of a rewrite to go. And I’m wrangling with a daily post. I could laugh here because in the scheme of life this isn’t life and death. It is frustration and frustration, but as they say, ‘This too shall pass’.

So, stick with me here, this learning curve will get better, and it too shall pass.

Isaiah 40:

7  “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. 8)  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
